Hermoso XXV

Hermoso XXV was bred by the well known stud Yeguada Segedana. His sire Duende XL is a son of the famous Binguero who was Champion of Spain in morphology and functionality. Binguero’s bloodlines come from Solero Bravo and Marin Garcia and include Albero II, famed for producing dressage performers.

Binguero was bred by the great stud of Senorio De Bariain SA. Hermosos’s dam, Mermosa is from the great old stud of Hermanos Crespo Gonzalez, with lines from Visconde De La Montesina and Solero Bravo.

Hermoso has three very good loose uphill paces, an excellent temperament and is incredibly easy to train. At the age of nine he had all the Grand Prix movements and at home he is working a Grand Prix level.  He has a superb piaffe and passage and is very expressive.  He has also proved himself in the showing world by winning his class at Royal Windsor and being champion of the show at Patchetts.

He has been competed in both the UK and Spain and has scored over 60% at affiliated dressage competitions. Hermoso would be well suited with both Spanish and non-Spanish horses as his progeny would make superb dressage, showing and all round competition/fun horses.

Hermoso's first foal has been born to the showing Appaloosa Spiro's Spotty Lass.  The foal has very unusual markings and very good confirmation and movement.  He should make a lovely showing and dressage colt.  Hermoso is suitable for breeding from all types of horses, not just Andalusians as can be seen from the pictures of Spiro's Spotty Salvador
